Job summary

Target Housing Ltd. is seeking a Service Manager for Mental Health Floating Support in Doncaster.

You will lead and oversee the service and the supported living provision at Morley Road, ensuring person-centred support and effective housing management in line with policies and statutory requirements. The role requires strong leadership, staff development, and collaboration with commissioners and health and social care partners to achieve positive outcomes for vulnerable adults.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing or supervising services supporting vulnerable adults, ideally including people with mental health needs.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills with the ability to motivate teams.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and report-writing skills.
• Ability to build relationships with commissioners, authorities and partner agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and motivate the service team to deliver high-quality services.
• Oversee day-to-day service delivery against KPIs and contractual requirements.
• Plan and monitor performance, quality standards and continuous improvement.
• Supervise, appraise and develop staff; manage training and conduct issues.
• Monitor staffing, rotas, sickness, and leave to ensure service continuity.
• Lead audits, quality assurance, and ensure recommendations are implemented.
