Job summary

HHS Group in Salford, Greater Manchester, is seeking a Supported Housing - Core Coordinator (MOUP) to join our team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality housing-related support to young adults with ADHD, ASD, and complex needs, across a 35-hour week rota, with 7:45am–8:10pm coverage.

You will manage caseloads, develop support plans, liaise with external agencies, and work within a safeguarding framework to promote independent living and resilience for vulnerable adults in our care.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of relevant legislation, policy and developments relating to vulnerable adults, including people with ADHD, ASD and substance misuse issues.
• Knowledge of issues affecting clients, including behaviour management, mental health, leaving care and neurodiversity.
• Understanding of safeguarding, health and safety procedures, risk management and tenancy management.
• Experience of working within a supported housing environment or relevant social care setting.
• Experience of supporting people with complex support needs.
• Experience of working with statutory agencies and partner organisations.
• Strong communication, recording, report-writing and IT skills.
• The ability to build positive working relationships with clients, families, colleagues and partner agencies.
• The ability to work independently, use initiative and prioritise a demanding workload.

Responsibilities

• Using coaching and strengths-based approaches to enable clients to develop emotional resilience, overcome barriers, promote independent living and take control of their lives.
• Taking a lead on liaising with external agencies and raising safeguarding concerns in an appropriate and timely manner.
• Completing Positive Behaviour Plans, Support Plans, Essential Profiles and Risk Assessments.
• Managing a caseload of clients, with workloads determined by client needs and service demand.
• Supporting the Project Manager to ensure all aspects of housing management, housing-related support and enablement support are delivered to a high standard.
• Working as part of a supported housing team to provide high-quality personalised support to young adults with ADHD and ASD, alongside clients with substance misuse support needs.
• Working with young people and their extended families.
• Delivering individualised support packages.
