Job summary

IRIS Recruitment is recruiting a Core Coordinator for MOUP in Salford to provide personalised housing-related support to young adults. The post operates across a 35-hour week with a shift rota, including evenings and weekends, supporting clients with complex needs and safeguarding requirements.

You will liaise with external agencies, complete essential plans and risk assessments, and contribute to tenancy management within a proactive, values-driven team.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Health and Social Care or related subject required.
• DBS check (Enhanced) required for the role.
• Experience in supported housing or social care settings.
• Experience supporting people with complex needs.
• Ability to liaise with statutory agencies and partner organisations.

Responsibilities

• Using coaching and strengths-based approaches to enable clients to develop emotional resilience, overcome barriers, promote independent living and take control of their lives.
• Taking a lead on liaising with external agencies and raising safeguarding concerns in an appropriate and timely manner.
• Completing Positive Behaviour Plans, Support Plans, Essential Profiles and Risk Assessments.
• Managing a caseload of clients, with workloads determined by client needs and service demand.
• Supporting the Project Manager to ensure all aspects of housing management, housing-related support and enablement support are delivered to a high standard.
• Working as part of a supported housing team to provide high-quality personalised support to young adults with ADHD and ASD, alongside clients with substance misuse support needs.
• Working with young people and their extended families.
