Job summary

Stirling Council in Stirling is seeking a Housing Assistant within the Income Management & Housing Support Team. You will support tenants, update records, and work with Housing Officers to maintain tenancies.

The role requires flexibility for a fast-paced environment, strong communication and organisational skills, and PVG checks. You will be expected to assist vulnerable tenants to sustain tenancies.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in housing or social services.
• Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
• PVG check for Adults required if progressed.

Responsibilities

• Respond to tenants’ requests about rent accounts and tenancies.
• Provide support and assistance to vulnerable tenants to sustain tenancies.
• Work closely with Housing Officers and team members.
• Attend forced entries and be flexible with working times.
• Ensure customer records are updated in line with policies.
