Qualifications

• Experience of homelessness services and applying relevant legislation.
• Ability to work collaboratively with partners and assess service user needs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out homelessness assessments in line with Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 and Domestic Abuse Act 2021.
• Aim to prevent homelessness wherever possible using creative and collaborative methods.
• Carry out investigations to support statutory decision making and formulate a personal housing plan.
• Be responsible for referrals to relevant commissioned and non-commissioned services.
• Be creative and innovative in supporting people at risk of homelessness.
• Work with the Housing Solutions team to prevent and relieve homelessness.
• Record information accurately and in a timely manner; communicate with colleagues, applicants and stakeholders.
• Participate in a blended working environment (home and office where appropriate).
