Job summary

Conwy County Borough Council is seeking a Housing Solutions Assessment Officer to join the Housing Solutions team in Colwyn Bay. You will deliver a high-quality, flexible service to households in housing need, carrying out statutory housing and homelessness assessments and decisions with a focus on preventing homelessness.

The role requires knowledge of housing legislation (Housing (Wales) Act 2014) and an ability to interpret complex cases.

Qualifications

• Must have housing knowledge including Housing (Wales) Act 2014.
• Understanding of homelessness prevention duties and statutory assessment processes.

Responsibilities
