Job summary

Leicester City Council is seeking a Planning and Repairs Coordinator to join our repairs and maintenance team. You’ll triage reported repairs, plan and coordinate day-to-day work across council and leasehold properties, and liaise with customers and craft operatives.

Working 37 hours a week on a full-time fixed-term basis for 12 months, with hybrid working from home and city offices, you’ll support the online housing portal and keep customers updated throughout the repairs journey.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing maintenance and repairs coordination.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency with standard IT software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mobile repairs appointment system and plan tasks.
• Coordinate repairs for occupied and empty properties.
• Update customers through phone and online portal.
