Job summary

Thorngate Churcher Trust is seeking a Housing Repairs Administrator in Gosport to join the Property Services team. You will coordinate repairs, schedule maintenance, and provide excellent customer service to residents.

The role combines administration with practical maintenance knowledge. It’s a part-time, permanent position at 25 hours per week, with an annual salary around £30,000 full-time equivalent.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in repairs, maintenance or property services.
• Practical maintenance knowledge.
• Experience coordinating workloads, appointments or operations.
• Strong administration and organisational skills.
• Proficient with IT systems, especially MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities.
• Receive and process repair requests from residents.
• Schedule routine, urgent and emergency maintenance work.
• Maintain accurate repair records and update systems.
• Act as a key contact for residents regarding repairs and appointments.
• Keep residents informed about progress and changes to schedules.
• Produce information and reports relating to repair activity and performance.
