Job summary

Sovereign Network Group in Exeter is seeking a part-time Housing Officer to join our team. The role splits time between the Exeter Office and remote sites, with travel across the area to engage residents and partners.

You will manage tenancy, leasehold and neighbourhood activities while delivering a customer-focused service that is compliant and data-driven. You will work 30 hours per week with two office days and flexible hours, including home working.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering tenancy, lease, or neighbourhood management services.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and resolve complex issues.
• Collaborative approach, working across teams and with external stakeholders.
• Good knowledge of landlord services and applying this in practice.
• Customer-first mindset with a track record of achieving positive outcomes.
• Confidence using digital tools to support service delivery.
• Full driving licence and access to your own car.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tenancy, leasehold, and neighbourhood management services across your locality.
• Act as trusted point of contact for customers.
• Build relationships with local authorities, community groups, and partner agencies.
• Use data insights to improve services and ensure compliance.
• Support neighbourhood improvements and shape services based on the voice of our customers.
• Maintain accurate customer records and ensure data is used responsibly.
