Job summary

Goodman Masson is recruiting an Interim Housing Officer in Hertfordshire to deliver a customer-focused tenancy and neighbourhood management service across a designated patch. You will handle tenancy breaches, antisocial behaviour and complex resident issues.

You will also manage rent and service charge arrears, conduct estate inspections and audits, and work with local authorities and internal teams to resolve resident concerns. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in tenancy and neighbourhood management within social housing.
• Experience dealing with ASB, tenancy enforcement and rent arrears.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.

• Identify safeguarding concerns and make appropriate referrals.
• Support resident engagement and respond to councillor enquiries.

Rate: £200-£220 per day Umbrella (Inside IR35)
Contract: 3 months initially
Location: Hertfordshire

We are working with a housing provider in Hertfordshire who are looking to appoint an experienced Housing Officer on an initial 3-month interim contract.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a customer-focused tenancy and neighbourhood management service across a designated patch, ensuring effective tenancy management and a high standard of service to residents.

• Ability to manage a busy and reactive workload.

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance.
