Job summary

Plymouth Community Homes is seeking a Housing Officer to support tenants with responsive, fair and customer-focused advice. You will manage tenancy enquiries, resolve issues and promote community standards to improve residents’ quality of life.

Working with internal teams and external partners, you’ll help foster safe, welcoming neighbourhoods across Plymouth while building trusted relationships with residents.

Qualifications

• Experience within social housing or a similar customer-focused environment.
• Fair, balanced and empathetic approach when working with diverse communities.
• Positive, proactive attitude with resilience and sound decision-making skills.
• Able to manage and prioritise a varied caseload to achieve outcomes.

About the role

As a Housing Officer, you'll be a trusted point of contact for tenants, providing responsive, fair and customer-focused support.
