A leading charity, RBLI (Royal British Legion Industries), is seeking a committed Housing Officer to oversee various aspects of accommodation management in Aylesford. This role involves providing exceptional service to residents and ensuring compliance with housing policies while managing waiting lists and debt recovery.
Reporting to the Housing and Communities Manager, the Housing Officer is responsible for assisting with the management of general needs, supported, and emergency accommodation owned by RBLI on the 72-acre RBLI Village in Aylesford. The role ensures that RBLI’s housing and maintenance policies and procedures are effectively implemented and provides exceptional customer service to RBLI residents in the allocation and management of properties.
This role involves managing short-term waiting lists, including the initial assessment of applications for emergency accommodation (HMO), general needs, supported accommodation (Over 55’s), as well as monitoring and managing rent debt and arrears recovery.
