Job summary

Essential Employment is recruiting for a leadership role in homelessness services in the United Kingdom. You will lead, develop and manage the team to achieve high performance, quality decision-making and continuous improvement.

You will oversee the quality, legality and timeliness of homelessness assessments, decisions and placements; deliver prevention initiatives; supervise temporary accommodation with safeguarding; and support responses to legal challenges, complaints and Ombudsman

• Ensure the quality, legality, and timeliness of homelessness assessments, decisions, and placements.
• Deliver homelessness prevention initiatives, ensuring early intervention and effective partnership working.
• Oversee the quality, and health and safety of temporary accommodation, ensuring suitability and safeguarding considerations.
• Support provision of responses to legal challenges, complaints, and Ombudsman enquiries relating to the service.
