Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited in London is seeking a skilled Housing Advisor to join the Housing Needs team at Camberwell Foyer. You will deliver housing advice to individuals and families facing homelessness, manage a varied caseload, and apply strategies to prevent homelessness in line with legislation.

The role requires experience in Housing Options and strong negotiation, mediation and advocacy skills, plus a Standard DBS certificate. Hybrid working with weekly office days is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in Housing Options, Homelessness, or Housing Advice Services.
• Understanding of: Homelessness Reduction Act 2017; Housing Act 1996 Part VII; Homelessness Code of Guidance.
• Conducting Housing Needs Assessments.
• Developing Personal Housing Plans.
• Executing Homelessness Prevention and Relief Duties.
• Managing complex homelessness caseloads.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Proficient in case recording and IT applications.
• Ability to prioritise tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities
