Newcastle City Council is seeking an experienced Housing Needs Assessment Manager to lead our Housing Needs Assessment Team. You will oversee housing need assessments, ensuring fair, evidence-based decisions in line with legislation and council policy, while supporting vulnerable residents.

You will drive service improvement, monitor performance, and contribute to strategic discussions on housing demand and future service development. Flexible working and generous benefits are available.

Formación

• Extensive housing services experience within local authority or similar regulated environment.
• Excellent knowledge of housing legislation, allocations and housing needs assessment.
• Proven ability to manage complex cases, develop staff, and work in partnership with other agencies.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, customer-focused services in a values-driven environment.
