Our client is a small Supported Housing charity for Veterans. The charity has embarked on a Change Programme across its operations, making it an exciting time to join as a Housing Manager.
Job purpose
Responsible to the Head of Housing for leading and managing the Housing Team in tenancy management services.
Ensure delivery of a customer-focused housing service to ex-Service personnel and their dependents, promoting tenant engagement and participation in service decisions.
Implement and monitor Health and Safety policies within housing operations to ensure safety and legislative compliance.
Provide regular reports on performance outcomes and key performance indicators.
Manage day-to-day property and tenancy services expenditure within budget.
Collaborate across teams to support housing management aligned with charitable objectives.
Key Accountabilities
Person Specification
Extensive housing management experience, preferably with a local authority or housing association, especially in property and asset management.
Experience in managing staff.
Proven ability to monitor performance indicators related to housing management functions.
Knowledge of issues facing the ex-Service community, particularly Veterans with support needs.
