Our client is a small Supported Housing charity for Veterans. The charity has embarked on a Change Programme across its operations, making it an exciting time to join as a Housing Manager.
Job purpose
Responsible to the Head of Housing for leading and managing the Housing Team in tenancy management services.
Ensure delivery of a customer-focused housing service to ex-Service personnel and their dependents, actively engaging tenants in decisions affecting service delivery.
Implement and monitor Health and Safety policies throughout housing operations to ensure safety and compliance with legislation.
Provide regular management reports on performance outcomes and key indicators.
Manage day-to-day property and tenancy services expenditure within budget.
Collaborate across teams to support the charitable objects through excellent housing management.
Key Accountabilities
Person Specification
Extensive housing management experience, preferably with a local authority or housing association, especially in property and asset management.
Experience in managing staff and monitoring performance indicators related to housing functions.
Knowledge of issues faced by the ex-Service community, especially Veterans with support needs.
