Housing Manager

Working in a community patch in Oxfordshire and from home | 12 month fixed term, full time (37.5 hpw) | Salary £32,000 pa to £38,000 pa (depending on skills and experience) | Plus great benefits including Health Cash Plan

Join us as a Housing Manager at Home Group, in our dynamic housing team in Oxfordshire.

You’ll be the face-to-face support for our estate residents, ensuring safe homes and vibrant communities. Delivering first-class customer service and fulfilling our customer promise daily!

Typical day as a Housing Manager

1. Engage with communities through visibility and proactive estate management.
2. Manage multiple patches and neighborhoods, supported by Community Housing Assistants.
3. Address anti-social behaviors, respond to queries and complaints.
4. Oversee voids process, liaising with local authorities.
5. Conduct estate inspections, engage with contractors, and perform safety and compliance checks.

About You

• Experienced in housing management, familiar with housing law and universal credit (preferred).
• Willing to work towards Chartered Institute of Housing Level 3.
• Super organized, proactive, with a positive attitude.
• Passionate about customer service and helping others.
• Resilient, confident working with external partners like local authorities and MPs.

Job Details

• Hybrid role: 3 days on community patches, 2 days from home.
• Regular team meetings via Teams and quarterly face-to-face.
• Flexible working hours; discuss your needs during interview.
• Occasional evening work for customer meetings.
• Must have insured vehicle; mileage paid.
• Standard DBS check required; paid for by us.
