Job Overview

Location: Barnet and North London

Type: Fixed Term Contract (12 months), Full-Time (37.5 hours/week), Office-based and Community Work

Salary: circa £34,000, plus benefits including Health Cash Plan

About the Role

Join Home Group's dedicated housing team as a Housing Manager. You will be the face-to-face support for our communities, delivering excellent service and engagement across your patches.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Engage with customers and communities through visibility and proactive estate management.
  2. Manage multiple patches with support from Community Housing Assistants.
  3. Address anti-social behaviour, respond to customer queries and complaints.
  4. Oversee voids process and liaise with local authorities.
  5. Conduct estate inspections, engage with contractors, and perform safety and compliance checks.

About You

  • Experience in housing management, understanding of housing law, and ideally, knowledge of universal credit.
  • Organized, proactive, and positive attitude.
  • Passionate about customer service and helping others.
  • Resilient in challenging situations, confident in working with external stakeholders.
  • Team player who is comfortable working independently on estates.

Additional Details

  • This role is hybrid; spend most days on community patches, with regular team meetings and administrative days in the office.
  • Flexible working hours and occasional evening work are expected.
  • Must have a vehicle insured for business purposes; mileage paid.
  • Standard DBS check required, paid for by us.
