Job summary

The Kent Autistic Trust is seeking a Housing Manager to lead the day-to-day management of our housing portfolio in a hybrid office/remote setting. You will ensure homes are safe, compliant, well maintained and responsive to the needs of autistic adults we support.

The role requires significant housing management experience within charities or local authorities and a CIH Level 4 qualification (or willingness to achieve by 2030).

Someone who understands that good housing is about more than compliance and bricks and mortar — it is about creating safe, secure and welcoming homes where autistic adults can feel valued, independent and supported to live their lives in the way that works for them.

As Housing Manager, you will lead the day-to-day management of our housing portfolio, ensuring homes are safe, compliant, well maintained and meet the needs of the autistic adults we support.

About You:

We are looking for someone who:

Has significant experience working within housing management within a charity, housing association, local authority or similar organisation and who has CIH Level 4 qualification or equivalent, or a willingness to undertake the qualification and achieve it by 2030.
