Job summary

Centaur Housing Association is seeking a Head of Housing & Support to lead its Supported Housing team and shape the future of the organisation. The role focuses on delivering high-quality tenancy management, safeguarding, and responsive support services for adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs.

• Significant experience in managing supported housing services and related policy work.
• Understanding of needs of adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions and complex support needs.
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive performance.
• Commitment to delivering person-centred services and improving tenant outcomes.
• Ability to build strong partnerships with local authorities, providers and commissioners.

Responsibilities

• Lead supported housing operations across services.
• Deliver high-quality tenancy management and tenancy sustainment.
• Oversee Intensive Housing Management for complex needs.
• Ensure compliance with housing legislation, safeguarding and health & safety.
• Manage contracts, partnerships and stakeholder relationships.
• Drive service performance, income management and tenancy sustainability.
• Develop and lead a high-performing team.
• Support service growth, innovation and continuous improvement.
• Act as deputy to the Managing Director when required.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking an exceptional Head of Housing & Support to lead our Supported Housing team and help shape the future of our organisation. This is a pivotal leadership role offering the opportunity to influence strategy, drive operational excellence and ensure outstanding outcomes for our tenants.

What you'll be responsible for:

• Leading supported housing operations
• Delivering high-quality tenancy management and tenancy sustainment services
• Overseeing Intensive Housing Management services for people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and complex care needs
• Ensuring compliance with housing legislation, safeguarding and health & safety requirements
• Managing contracts, partnerships and stakeholder relationships
• Driving service performance, income management and tenancy sustainability
• Developing and leading a high-performing team
• Supporting service growth, innovation and continuous improvement
• Acting as deputy to the Managing Director when required

About You
