Job summary

Weightmans LLP is seeking a Housing Management lawyer to join our team in the North West. The role focuses on housing management litigation, anti-social behaviour matters and related tenancy enforcement for housing associations and local authorities across the UK.

You will manage your own caseload, advocate where appropriate, and work with a Market-leading team known for practical, commercially minded advice. Eligible for full-time, permanent work in Manchester/Liverpool offices.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years PQE
• Experience in housing management litigation
• Knowledge of anti-social behaviour and tenancy enforcement
• Confident in managing own caseload and advocacy

Responsibilities

• Manage own caseload of housing management and anti-social behaviour matters.
• Represent housing associations and landlords on contentious housing issues.
• Handle possession proceedings, injunctions, tenancy enforcement and rent recovery.
• Provide advocacy where appropriate and support junior team members.
• Assist with business development and networking initiatives.
