Job description

Housing Management Coordinator

Location: Cheltenham and Gloucester

Type: Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours/week)

Salary: £25,838 to £26,645 per annum + benefits including Health Cash Plan

About the Role

Join our team as a Housing Management Coordinator, focusing on tenancy support to ensure safe, well-maintained homes. Your responsibilities include managing tenancy and rent accounts, supporting customers to move to secure, long-term housing, and ensuring properties meet safety and maintenance standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support customers to engage with their tenancies and maintain properties they can be proud of.
  2. Assist with housing benefit claims and manage rent accounts.
  3. Issue warning letters and notices, including attending court when necessary.
  4. Prepare rooms for new tenants and ensure maximum occupancy.
  5. Ensure health and safety compliance and oversee maintenance standards.
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience managing housing management caseloads and overseeing landlord duties.
  • Knowledge of re-letting procedures, rent collection, and tenancy actions.
  • Ability to lead and support team colleagues.
  • Proactive, organized, and able to work independently.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with internal teams and external partners.
Additional Details

Travel around properties is required; a vehicle insured for business purposes is necessary (mileage paid). An Enhanced DBS check will be conducted at the company's expense. Flexible working hours are available, primarily Monday to Friday.
