Job Description - Housing Management Coordinator (25808)

Location: Cheltenham and Gloucester

Type: Permanent, full-time (37.5 hpw), Monday to Friday

Salary: £25,838 to £26,645 per annum, with benefits including Health Cash Plan

About the Role

This is a great opportunity for a Housing Management Coordinator to join our team in Cheltenham and Gloucester. As our Housing and Property Guru, you’ll focus on tenancy support, ensuring homes are safe and well maintained. You will support tenants in managing their tenancy and rent accounts, aiming to help them secure long-term accommodation.

Typical Responsibilities
  1. Ensure properties are well-maintained and engage tenants in their tenancy.
  2. Assist tenants with housing benefit claims and ensure payments are received.
  3. Issue warning letters and notices, and attend court when necessary.
  4. Prepare rooms for new tenants and ensure maximum occupancy by turning around vacant units promptly.
  5. Maintain health and safety standards and ensure maintenance meets required standards.
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience managing a housing caseload and overseeing landlord duties.
  • Knowledge of re-letting procedures, rent collection, and tenancy actions.
  • Ability to lead and support team members.
  • Proactive, organized, and able to work independently.
  • Strong collaborative skills with colleagues and external partners.

You will join Debbie, our Senior Client Service Manager, and the dedicated Cheltenham and Gloucester team. We are passionate about our work and support diversity and inclusion through various networks.

Job Details
  • Flexible working hours, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility.
  • Based at our Gloucestershire service, traveling around five properties.
  • Use technology for support plans, benefit claims, and tenancy sign-ups.
  • Must have a vehicle insured for business purposes; mileage paid.
  • Enhanced DBS check required, paid for by us.
