Overview

As a Housing Management Administrator, you'll play a key role in supporting Housing Officers and ensuring our customers receive a high‑quality service. Your day‑to‑day will include:

Responsibilities
  • Managing calls whilst delivering friendly, helpful customer service and resolving basic queries.
  • Entering housing applications into the system, producing tenancy agreements and other relevant sign‑up documentation.
  • Supporting Housing Officers in the maximisation of rental income, including monitoring housing benefit entitlements and generating legal documentation in relation to possession.
  • Any other ad‑hoc administrative duties and specific project work as required, such as completing tenancy changes on the system.
  • Promoting equality, inclusion, and safeguarding across all interactions.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to improve services and share best practice.

This is a role where no two days are the same – you’ll be problem‑solving, supporting customers, and contributing to the smooth running of our housing services.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in administration and customer service.
  • Confidence with IT systems, especially Microsoft Office.
  • Skilled at multitasking, prioritising, and working independently.
  • A clear communicator with a positive can‑do attitude.
  • Knowledgeable (or willing to learn) about housing legislation, welfare benefits, and GDPR.
  • Passionate about inclusion, fairness, and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Qualifications such as GCSEs in English and Maths (A‑C) and/or QCF Level 2 in Business Administration are required, with a willingness to continue learning and developing.
