Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience within social housing.
• Experience inspecting properties and managing repairs or voids.
• Good knowledge of housing maintenance and building standards.
• Strong contractor-management and customer-service skills.
• The ability to manage a busy workload and work independently.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Carry out property, repair and void inspections.
• Diagnose maintenance issues and specify required works.
• Manage reactive repairs and void-property works.
• Raise, monitor and close repair orders.
• Liaise with tenants, contractors and internal teams.
• Monitor contractor performance, quality and timescales.
• Ensure works meet health, safety and compliance standards.
• Maintain accurate records and provide progress reports.
• Assist with complaints and resolve repair-related issues.
