Job summary

Stoke-on-Trent City Council is seeking an experienced Data Integrity Officer to ensure housing data quality within the Housing Regulatory Framework. The role provides strategic oversight of data across the HRA, guiding policy and service decisions to improve customer outcomes.

The post emphasizes data accuracy, system reconciliation, and governance, supporting the council's housing improvement journey with a focus on EDI requirements and customer-centric services.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the housing sector, including current legislation, policy, funding, and local priorities.
• Experience with housing data, performance information and management systems, using insights to support service improvement.
• Excellent research, analytical and reporting skills to turn complex information into clear recommendations.
• Strong communication and the ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver strategic projects that improve quality of housing, data and insight.
• Oversee the quality, accuracy and integrity of housing data across systems.
• Ensure data is consistent, well-managed and fit for purpose through monitoring, analysis and cleansing.
• Produce and maintain accurate performance reports for service improvement and decision-making.
• Provide leadership for the Data Quality Improvement Plan.
• Ensure governance of data-related projects with boards and steering groups.
