Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Acting as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing their housing-related queries, concerns, and requests.
- Providing guidance to individuals seeking housing assistance, conducting needs assessments to determine eligibility for available programs.
- Coordinating property inspections and maintenance activities, promptly addressing any issues to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Working closely with local authorities and partner agencies to identify suitable housing options for individuals and families in need.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of tenant information, including applications, leases, and correspondence.
- Generating regular reports on housing occupancy, trends, and relevant issues, providing updates to the management team.
- Assisting in the collection of rent and managing arrears, implementing appropriate strategies for resolution.
- Working with financial support programs to help tenants access available resources for housing-related expenses.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housing coordination, property management, or a related field.
- Knowledge of UK housing laws, regulations, and government housing programs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in using relevant computer software and databases.
