Job summary

Home Group Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a part-time Housing Support Assistant to help keep residents safe, buildings secure, and communities well maintained. Duties include patrolling corridors, checking CCTV and fire doors, greeting residents and visitors, and handling repairs or cleaning tasks.

The role offers pro rata pay of £26,300 per year (approx. £13.45 per hour) with a health cash plan and other benefits; shift pattern Monday to Friday 4:00pm–10:00pm for 30 hours per week;

• Recognise when things are about to go wrong and intervene sensitively.

Responsibilities

• Walk around the building checking CCTV, fire doors and communal areas.
• Greet customers and visitors, pick up repairs or cleaning.
• Provide first-line support for customers when the wider team isn't available.
• Monitor and respond to incidents calmly, quickly and fairly.
• Work with colleagues and partners to manage anti-social behaviour.

Job details

• Permanent, part time (30 hpw),
• Monday to Friday (4:00pm until 10:00pm).
• Able to use technology to monitor CCTV, update records and communicate with colleagues
• You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done (we pay for it)
