Care Housing Association is seeking a Compliance Officer to join the Assets & Compliance team. This role supports statutory and regulatory compliance across the property portfolio, ensuring landlord safety obligations are met and records are accurate.

You will monitor safety workstreams, coordinate inspections and testing, manage contractors, and produce regular KPI reports. The role involves collaboration with tenants, staff and external agencies to maintain safe, well‑managed homes.

Formación

• Organised and detail-focused candidate with ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in compliance, asset management, repairs, property or housing services.
• Experience managing contractors or service providers.
• Experience maintaining accurate records and producing reports.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor gas, electrical, fire safety, asbestos, water hygiene and building safety workstreams.
• Coordinate inspections, servicing, testing and remedial works.
• Track overdue actions, compliance failures and emerging risks.
• Maintain accurate compliance records, certificates, asset data and audit trails.
• Produce regular compliance and KPI reports.
• Liaise with contractors and monitor performance against contracts.
• Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.
• Collaborate with tenants, colleagues and external agencies.
