Job summary

Mind in Tower Hamlets, Newham, and Redbridge is seeking a Housing Advisor dedicated to supporting clients through recovery, improving resilience and wellbeing in the community.

You will provide housing and welfare benefits advice, run workshops, and collaborate with Connecting Communities teams and housing partners to coordinate support and referrals, while maintaining confidentiality and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Experience providing advice on welfare benefits and housing rights.
• Confidentiality and accurate record-keeping (GDPR).
• Strong communication, literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide housing advice to help clients live independently in the community.
• Help clients access welfare benefits and entitlements.
• Run welfare benefits and money management workshops and surgeries.
• Collaborate with Connecting Communities team, mental health services, housing associations and partner agencies.
