The purpose of the role is to support the Assistant Director of Housing with any administrative duties required within the organisation. What you'll be doing
- Prepare paperwork and forms required for Housing management letters, mail merges
- Triage and delegate case work coming into the service.
- Telephone residents making appointments on behalf of Housing Officers
- Support the service with diary entry.
- Complete recording, and scanning, of information onto relevant systems.
- Prepare, and complete, performance and compliance reports, as required.
- Monitor, record, and provide updates on workloads within the directorate.
- Liaise with other departments and teams within the company.
- Carry out investigation into reports and pass information onto relevant Officer's on behalf of Assistant Director of Housing.
- Ensure full and accurate records are maintained.
- Utilise the company purchase ordering system by raising relevant orders as requested by the Assistant Director of Housing.

Experience & Knowledge
- Experience of providing administrative support within a housing, local authority, public sector, or similar customer‑focused environment
- Experience of handling and prioritising casework or enquiries in a busy service
- Experience of communicating with residents or customers by telephone and in writing
- Experience of maintaining accurate records and managing confidential information
- Understanding of the importance of data protection and confidentiality
Skills & Abilities
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Ability to triage, allocate, and track work effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to liaise effectively with colleagues across teams and departments

Qualifications (Desirable)
- Relevant administrative, business support, or housing qualification
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths
