Job summary

Stirling Council is seeking an Allocations Assistant to join the Housing Allocations Team. You will support customers through the housing application process, advise on housing options, respond to enquiries, and maintain accurate records in line with legislation and Council policies.

The role requires excellent communication, organisational skills, and a proactive approach. Knowledge of housing legislation, a valid driving licence, and PVG clearance are essential; CIH qualification or Northgate

Qualifications

• Experience in housing and homelessness legislation preferred.
• PVG scheme clearance required for the role.
• A valid driving licence is essential.
• Experience in social housing is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support customers through every stage of the housing application process.
• Provide advice on housing options and respond to enquiries.
• Process applications and maintain accurate records in line with legislation and Council policies.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure high-quality service.
