Job summary

LGH Hotels Management is seeking a reliable Housekeeping Supervisor to support daily operations across the hotel, ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort and care.

You will lead the housekeeping team, plan daily schedules, train staff, and work closely with Front Office and Maintenance to deliver smooth operations and exceptional guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping with readiness for supervisory/leadership role.
• Strong attention to detail and high presentation standards.
• Excellent communication and team-supportive approach.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the housekeeping team, ensuring cleaning standards and service levels are consistently met
• Train and guide team members, helping them feel confident, capable and clear in their responsibilities
• Plan daily schedules and allocate tasks effectively, ensuring all areas of the hotel are cleaned efficiently and on time
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas regularly to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering replacements when required
• Liaise closely with Front Office, Maintenance and other departments to support smooth operations and guest satisfaction
• Report any maintenance, health or safety concerns promptly and accurately
• Ensure all housekeeping activities comply with health and safety standards and procedures Has experience in housekeeping and is ready to take on a supervisory or leadership role
• Takes pride in high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Enjoys supporting and guiding others in a practical, hands on environment
• Communicates clearly, calmly and respectfully with colleagues across departments
• Is well organised and confident managing priorities in a busy setting
• Pays close attention to detail and understands how routine and consistency support quality
