Job summary

LGH Hotels Management Limited is seeking a reliable Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations at The Holiday Inn Oxford. You will lead the team to ensure rooms and public areas meet the highest cleanliness and presentation standards, while coordinating with Front Office, Maintenance and other departments to deliver guest satisfaction.

The role focuses on supervision, staff development, and maintaining safety standards in a busy hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the housekeeping team, ensuring cleaning standards and service levels are met.
• Train and guide team members to be confident and clear in their responsibilities.
• Plan daily schedules and allocate tasks to ensure timely cleaning of all areas.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to maintain high cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies and equipment; order replacements as needed.
• Liaise with Front Office, Maintenance and other departments for smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Report maintenance, health or safety concerns promptly and accurately.
• Ensure housekeeping activities comply with health and safety standards.

We are looking for a reliable, organised and people‑focused Housekeeping Supervisor to support the day‑to‑day running of our housekeeping department and help maintain consistently high standards across the hotel.

In this role, you will be a visible and supportive presence for the housekeeping team, providing clear guidance, reassurance and direction throughout the day. Key Responsibilities

• Liaise closely with Front Office, Maintenance and other departments to support smooth operations and guest satisfaction
• Report any maintenance, health or safety concerns promptly and accurately
