Job summary

The Grand Hotel Leicester by the Unlimited Collection is seeking a confident Housekeeping Supervisor with a passion for service excellence. You will report to the Housekeeping Manager/Head Housekeeper, working towards providing our guests with memorable experiences of the restaurant.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning supervisory experience.
• Ability to lead and develop teams.
• Ability to bring the guest experience to life throughout the hotel.
• Willingness to learn and work with IT systems quickly.
• A good command of English is essential, a second language is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Housekeeper on leading the housekeeping team while maintaining the standards of cleaning, hygiene, stock control and staffing.
• Planning, organising and supervising the cleaning services within the property.
• Dealing with suppliers, trade associations, outsourced partners, ensuring linen, uniform, consumable and staff costs are within budget.
• Supporting the Housekeeper on all departmental communications.
• Managing reporting and helping with budgeting for the housekeeping team.
