Ardencote Manor - Hiddenwell, a Luxury Wellness Retreat in the United Kingdom, seeks a detail‑oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead a team and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness across bedrooms and public spaces.

You will work closely with Reception and other departments to manage room moves, VIP requests and guest arrivals, while ensuring safety protocols, stock control, and timely communication. This full‑time role offers career progression within a premium hospitality group.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping supervision preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Room Attendants, Linen Porters and Public Area Cleaners.
• Inspect guest bedrooms and public areas for cleanliness and presentation.
• Coordinate with Reception and other teams on arrivals, departures and guest requests.
• Keep housekeeping trolleys and cupboards stocked; organise deep cleans and set priorities.
• Monitor guest feedback and take action to maintain standards.
• Train new starters and ensure health & safety and COSHH compliance.
• Record stock checks, audits and maintenance needs with accuracy.

We’re looking for an organised, hands-on and passionate Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team

You’ll play an important role in making sure our bedrooms and public areas look their very best, supporting the housekeeping team throughout the day and helping us deliver the high standards our guests expect

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting and supervising our Room Attendants, Linen Porters and Public Area Cleaners, helping everyone have a successful day
• Inspecting guest bedrooms and public areas, making sure everything is beautifully clean, presented and ready for our guests
• Supporting the guest experience, working closely with Reception and the wider team to manage early arrivals, late departures, room moves, VIPs and special guest requests
• Making sure housekeeping trolleys and cupboards are fully stocked, organise deep cleans and keep the team updated on room priorities
• Helping to continually improve, keeping up to date with guest feedback and take action where needed to maintain and improve our standards
• Helping welcome and train new starters and make sure the team follows our housekeeping, health & safety and COSHH procedures
• Completing regular stock takes, audits, equipment checks and housekeeping records, reporting maintenance or safety issues when needed

What we’re looking for

• Must be organised and comfortable prioritising a busy workload
• Must be able to communicate confidently with different teams

• Must be happy to be hands-on and help the team when needed

Housekeeping or supervisory experience would be a real advantage

Additional Information

• Full-Time position working 5 out of 7 days per week - including weekends and public holidays
• 40 hours per week
• Shift Pattern: 7am - 3pm, 12pm - 8pm, 2pm - 10pm
• Salary: £28,000 per annum
