Sidney Sussex College, is seeking to appoint a Housekeeping Supervisor to work within the Housekeeping Department. Reporting to the Head of Housekeeping Services, this post will help to ensure the highest possible standard of cleaning is maintained throughout the College buildings and outlaying hostels.
This post would suit a pro-active, professional individual with supervisory experience and a strong work ethic. Experience of professional cleaning work in an educational or hotel establishment would be useful to the role, but training will be provided. The ability to work unsupervised, and the capacity to travel daily to outlaying hostels would be welcomed.
This post is full-time at 37.5 hpw, normally working 7.30am – 3.30pm (including an unpaid lunchbreak of half an hour), working 5 days in 7, with weekend work required. Flexibility is required especially throughout the conference season. The salary is paid within the Sidney Sussex Salary Spine range points 13-18 equating to £28,773 - £29,945 gross per annum (depending on experience).

The College is also closed over the Christmas period.
