Job summary

Responsibilities

• Deliver housekeeping services in line with contractual Service Level Agreements and ESS procedures
• Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring full compliance with company and client Health & Safety requirements
• Report all health & safety hazards, near misses, and accidents promptly
• Maintain a consistently clean, safe, and hygienic working environment
• Support the implementation of the Compass Service Framework
• Carry out regular quality audits to ensure high standards of cleanliness and productivity
• Recruit, train, and develop team members to perform their roles safely and effectively
• Engage, motivate, and manage the team through regular briefings, performance reviews, and day-to-day supervision
• Manage rotas, timesheets, wages, and associated paperwork accurately and on time
• Control costs within agreed budgets, including labour, equipment, and stock
• Undertake general housekeeping duties as required
• Attend off-site meetings and training courses when required

• £16.75 per hour


• 16 hours weekend

We are looking for a proactive and people‑focused Supervisor to lead and support our housekeeping team at Goodenough College. You will play a key role in ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for members, guests, and client, while delivering services in line with contractual requirements and ESS standards.
