Job description

As a Housekeeping Steward on the Britannic Explorer, a Belmond Train, you will be part of a team dedicated to delivering exceptional housekeeping services to our guests. Your responsibilities include maintaining guest areas and cabins, performing back-of-house duties, and ensuring timely service preparation. If you are eager to develop your skills within a luxury setting, this is an excellent opportunity.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

1. This seasonal role runs from April to November 2025.
2. Providing outstanding customer service in line with Belmond and Leading Quality Assurance standards.
3. Cleaning guest cabins and public areas to departmental standards.
4. Making beds with clean linen, replenishing guest amenities, and reporting maintenance issues.
5. Assisting with onboard duties such as greeting guests, handling luggage, and supporting other departments.
6. Maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness in all areas.

Requirements

What You Bring:

• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in luxury hospitality.
• Hospitality qualification is advantageous.
• COSHH knowledge and awareness.
• Understanding of housekeeping operations, including cleaning, hygiene, safety, and security protocols.
• Ability to work under pressure, follow instructions, and work independently.
