About the role

Rydges Newcastle is seeking an experienced Kitchen Hand to join our fast-paced and dynamic kitchen team.

To be considered for this role, you need to:

• Be able to work a 7-day rotating roster, including Public Holidays
• Ensure work is carried out in a timely and efficient manner
• Attend and be responsible for all training provided by the kitchen and management team
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
• Take responsibility for various cleaning duties
• Maintain personal grooming standards as per hotel policy
• Comply with all hotel operational policies and procedures
• Follow all occupational health and safety guidelines (OH&S)
• Perform any other duties as directed by the Executive Chef and management team

About You

• Proven experience in a similar role is highly regarded
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Reliable, professional, and personable with a can-do attitude
• Ability to use initiative and strong problem-solving skills
• Flexible and adaptable to the fast-paced hotel environment
• Available to work a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and Public Holidays
