Due to internal promotion, Interaction Recruitment is currently seeking a Housekeeping Manager to join a team of 15-18 Housekeepers, ranging from junior staff to Supervisor level, based in a prestigious hotel in Kettering, Northamptonshire, NN14.

The salary offered will depend on experience, employment history, and skillset, approximately £28,000-£32,000 DOE.

Applicants:

• At least 1 year experience in a hotel within Housekeeping at Team Leader, Supervisor, Deputy Manager, or Manager level
• At least 1 year experience leading a team of Housekeepers
• A firm but fair hands-on leader with experience in leading and training junior staff
• Excellent attention to detail, planning, and organisation
• Experience with stock management, inventory, and ordering
• History of working in hotels and/or conference centres
• Flexible and adaptable to the needs of the business, with a focus on customer experience
• Ensuring all rooms and public areas are cleaned and sanitised to a high standard
• Creating a positive work environment for team members and ensuring fair weekly rotas
• Organising rotas to ensure larger rooms are worked on in pairs
• Providing relevant training, managing 15-20 staff, and maintaining team morale
• Ability to clean rooms to a high quality standard within 30-45 minutes (excluding four-poster rooms)

Rota: 5 out of 7 days / 40 hours per week
