Job summary

Aston House Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment and to support laundry duties. You will clean residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to high hygiene standards, and label and handle clothing with care.

This bank contract offers £13.45–£13.95 per hour, paid DBS, uniform provided, pension, and generous annual leave.

Qualifications

• A positive and reliable approach to work.
• Good attention to detail and organisation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of hygiene and infection control is beneficial.
• Previous experience is welcomed but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean residents’ rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to high hygiene standards.
• Support laundry duties including washing, drying and ironing.
• Label and handle clothing with care and accuracy.
• Follow infection control and health and safety procedures.
• Contribute to a well organised, respectful, and comfortable environment.
