Aston House Care Home is a 39 bed, purpose built care home located in a peaceful residential area of Hayes, Middlesex. Providing dementia care, the home has a welcoming family atmosphere with comfortable living spaces, a sunny conservatory, enclosed garden and dedicated areas for Residents to relax and socialise. Colleagues work together to provide high quality, person centred care and support Residents to enjoy a fulfilling daily life.
As Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment while also supporting laundry services. This is a varied, hands on role where your attention to detail and high standards will directly impact comfort, dignity and daily wellbeing.
You will be responsible for cleaning residents’ rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, ensuring all spaces are maintained to a high standard of hygiene and presentation. Alongside this, you will support laundry duties including washing, drying, ironing and returning clothing correctly, ensuring all items are clearly labelled and handled with care.
Working closely with the wider team, you will follow infection control, health and safety and housekeeping procedures, ensuring all tasks are carried out safely and efficiently. Your role will contribute to a well organised and comfortable environment where individuals feel respected and supported.
