Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Cleaning Manager to lead a dedicated cleaning team on-site in the UK. You will supervise cleaning duties across floors, washrooms and common areas, manage rotas, holidays, audits, and recruitment, and identify training needs while keeping records.

You will also handle investigations, monitor products and stock, and ensure budgets are met. A right-to-work in the UK is required, with experience in cleaning management and HR aspects highly valued.

Qualifications

• You must have right to work in the UK.
• Experience as a Manager or Supervisor in cleaning or a similar field is desirable.
• Experience in staffing, rotas, training, and basic HR compliance.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work to deadlines and prioritise, with flexible hours and days.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and assisting with cleaning of floors, communal areas, stairwells, and washrooms.
• Managing staff rotas, holiday requests, site audits and recruiting new employees.
• Identify on-site training needs, conduct training where possible and record training.
• Handle investigations related to accidents or disciplinary matters.
• Monitor cleaning products, maintain stock levels and submit orders within site budgets.
