Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Cleaning Area Manager to oversee cleaning operations across multiple sites in the UK. The role involves strategic planning, staff management and continuous improvement to uphold high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

The ideal candidate will lead, train and motivate the cleaning team, liaise with clients, and manage budgets for supplies, equipment and staffing. Weekend availability may be required and travel across sites will be frequent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise cleaning staff to optimise efficiency.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment and materials.
• Recruit, train and supervise cleaning personnel.
• Motivate and lead the cleaning team to achieve targets.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback for improvement.
• Liaise with clients to understand their cleaning requirements and expectations.
• Provide updates on operations and ensure client satisfaction.
• Develop and manage budgets for cleaning supplies, equipment and staffing.
• Travel between stores as required (Full UK Driving Licence)
