Relais & Chateau at Thornbury Castle is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to join our professional housekeeping team. You will help create memorable 5* experiences for guests in a beautifully restored castle.

Role is 20 hours per week (11am - 2:30pm), 5 days, including weekends. Compensation is £12.71 per hour with benefits including service charge share and paid leave. Training and staff discounts provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping is beneficial.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all hotel communal areas are cleaned and tidied to a high standard, including vacuuming, polishing and dusting.
• Ensuring bedrooms and bathrooms are cleaned to a high standard, including refreshing linen and towels, vacuuming and polishing.
• Restocking guest room supplies, including linen, amenities and collaterals.
• Engaging with guests where required.
• Reporting any maintenance issues to Housekeeping manager.

Set on 15 acres of beautiful land, Thornbury Castle Hotel is the only Tudor Castle operating as a hotel in England. The Castle has recently undergone a multi-million pound refurbishment program, bringing back to life the regal grandeur of its past. Located 20 minutes’ drive from Bristol, it offers 26 rooms and suites, an award-winning restaurant, bar, and two unique meeting and conference spaces.

• £12.71per hour
• 20 hours per week - 11am - 2:30pm. 5 days a week, including weekend work

• Cleaning rooms can be very physically demanding but you will receive full training and be surrounded by a supportive team
