Relais & Château at Thornbury Castle is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to support our professional housekeeping team in delivering 5* guest experiences. You will clean communal areas and guest rooms to a consistently high standard, while engaging with guests as needed.

This part-time role offers 20 hours per week (11am–2:30pm), five days, including weekends, with a share of service charge and a range of staff benefits.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all hotel communal areas are cleaned and tidied to a high standard, including vacuuming, polishing and dusting
• Ensuring bedrooms and bathrooms are cleaned to a high standard, including refreshing linen and towels, vacuuming and polishing
• Restocking guest room supplies, including linen, amenities and collaterals
• Engaging with guests where required
• Reporting any maintenance issues to Housekeeping manager

Relais & Chateau at Thornbury Castle are seeking a Housekeeping Assistantto join our professional and hardworking Housekeeping Team. You will be working in a unique and beautifully restored Castle creating truly memorable and impressive 5* experiences for our guests.

Set on 15 acres of beautiful land, Thornbury Castle Hotel is the only Tudor Castle operating as a hotel in England. The Castle has recently undergone a multi-million pound refurbishment program, bringing back to life the regal grandeur of its past. Located 20 minutes’ drive from Bristol, it offers 26 rooms and suites, an award-winning restaurant, bar, and two unique meeting and conference spaces.

• £12.71per hour
• 20 hours per week - 11am - 2:30pm. 5 days a week, including weekend work

• Ensuring bedrooms and bathrooms are cleaned to a high standard, including refreshing linen and towels, vacuuming and polishing
• Restocking guest room supplies, including linen, amenities and collaterals
• Engaging with guests where required
• Reporting any maintenance issues to Housekeeping manager

• Cleaning rooms can be very physically demanding but you will receive full training and be surrounded by a supportive team

• An additional share of the service charge and tips every month
