Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group in Weston-super-Mare invites applications for a Housekeeping Assistant at Acer House Care Home. You will maintain cleanliness and laundry standards and work to standard operating procedures while respecting residents' dignity and belongings.

The role runs 08:00–16:00 shifts with alternate weekends and requires a DBS check and proof of right to work in the UK; training and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience of cleaning laundry in a public setting.
• Knowledge of health and safety, particularly moving and handling, fire safety and COSHH assessments.

• Operate to the standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry

Job description

Housekeeping Assistant post at Acer House Care Home, one of over 100 homes run by Avery Healthcare Group, a luxury elderly care provider. The work centres on keeping the home clean and its laundry service running to standard, following housekeeping and laundry procedures and worksheets while respecting residents' dignity and belongings. The role runs 08.00 to 16:00 shifts with alternate weekends. Candidates need a DBS check and proof of right to work in the UK.
