This is a bank Housekeeping Assistant post for Avery Healthcare Group at Greensand House Care Home, a home for older residents. The work is keeping cleaning and laundry to hotel-style standards under the home's housekeeping procedures, carrying out cleaning to worksheet instructions. Residents' dignity and personal space are central, and the role calls for flexibility to cover varied tasks at short notice. A DBS check and proof of right to work are required, with the DBS cost met by Avery.

What’s required

Experience

• Experience of cleaning laundry in a public setting

Skills & knowledge

• Knowledge of health and safety, including moving and handling, fire safety and COSHH assessments
• Ability to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice
